Welcome to Our Farm School

Homestead Montessori Farm School is registered as a private in-home Christian Elementary school based in Kansas City, Kansas. We teach using the Montessori Method and believe that practical life skills are an important part of a child's education. We foster independence, self-esteem, a sense of community and responsibility in an environment that is cared for by the student. Gardening, animal care, food preparation, sewing, art and music are just a few of the areas in which the students participate in addition to their academic studies. Elementary through Erdkinder aged students thrive in this peaceful, work oriented atmosphere.
