A Trip To The Roasterie
After studying Africa, we moved on to South America. Since coffee is one of the largest exports from South America we decided to visit our local coffee roasting plant. The Roasterie works individually with native farmers to cut out the middle man so that they can pay top prices to the farmers. They also build schools and community necessities for the local farmers and their families. We learned a lot about coffee and how it is grown and harvested.
