Puppetry Arts Institute Field Trip

January 15th - Our trip to the Puppetry Arts Institute was so informative and fun. We definitely recommend it! We learned some of the history of puppetry and about the Hazelle Co. that was a female owned business. The students were able to choose the puppet head of their choice and paint it as their own creation. They were then taken to the puppet stage to learn how to manipulate their puppet and create a puppet show. We ventured into the international puppet room to see puppets from all over the world. It is a small part of puppet history right in our own back yard.
